I love my trainer. I'm new to cycling and I was hesitant. I'm so happy I decided to buy this product! The handlebar resistance adjustment is good for minor adjustments but for my use I couldn't be happier. Easy to set up, well built and stable.

Solid, dependable and easy to set up

      Comments:

I've had two of these models for two years now (one for my bike and one for my wife's bike) and it is a solid, well built, and easy to set up trainer. I would recommend getting a trainer tyre though because normal road tyres will wear noticeably on it. It is great value for the cash conscious.

      Great Trainer!

      Comments:

I have used this trainer for four years, averaging several thousand equivalent miles a year at very high resistance. It is a solid design and overall works great. I have had to replace the tension knob, as it takes a lot of force in turning it up to a high level of resistance. I can see I will need to replace it again because of the high force I have to apply to get the resistance I desire. CycleOps was very responsive and quickly sent me a new one, which was easy to install. The trainer is a little noisy, so I just wear earmuffs with earbuds underneath so it's not a problem at all. Overall I love this trainer and highly recommend it, or any product of CycleOps, who have proven to be a very good company.

Super easy to use, but noisy

This is a super easy to set up and to mount trainer. It is adjustable, it works great for most people. It is a bit noisy, however if you remove the black cover of the magnet will make much less noise.

      Does the business!

      Comments:

Bought this almost a year ago when it got too icy to continue commuting to work, though I still wanted to keep riding and maintain my level of fitness. Spent three months riding to a routine specified by my Suunto HRM, and the trainer handed everything I threw at it. I tended to set it at the highest resistance and the use the bike's gears to adjust the resistance further as required. The only downside is that it can be *very* noisy when you're putting in a big effort; despite dampening it by having it atop foam matting, it still sounded like a 747 taking off in the room! However, at a reasonable cadence and effort it's pretty quiet and I was able to mostly hear the TV over the noise. (Yes, an hour's training session is an ideal time to catch up on your favourite shows to stop the boredom setting in!)

      Great for "riding" indoors

Got this as a gift about 2 years ago. Pretty easy to set up and use. Make sure the back wheel is elevated above the mat or you'll get lots of rubber dust. Definitely helps to go online for the tutorials. Nice to be able to work out in my warm, dry living room when it's snowing outside!

      Perfect for the job.

      Comments:

I bought one of these four years ago. These things take up no space and give you a ready option to train indoors when the weather gets bad. Nothing fancy, quiet enough to watch TV in the garage when I'm working out. I mistakenly broke the tension adjustment by going past the max setting. The guys at C/O instructed me on the best way to set it up and sent me a part for free to get me spinning again. Great customer service.

I have had this a couple of years. It lives in my living room with my road bike and is brilliant in the winter if I cannot get outdoors. Even in summer I love pedalling along watching the tours on TV pretending I'm there. Great for a warm down or when time is tight. Quick to set up, easy to use and not too noisy..
